Directions: From Downtown Denver, take Hwy 6 to Sheridan Blvd south. Make a left (east) Arizona Ave. The trailhead is about 14 blocks east.
Garfield Lake is a pleasant, quick, easy stroll along a paved trail around a scenic pond/lake. The real draw of the this park is the forest grove in the middle of the lake. In the fall, it is spectacular. The park is otherwise just like most Denver neighborhood parks, fun for the kids and a nice place to spend some time outdoors.
