Directions: From Downtown Pagosa Springs, turn south on Hot Springs Blvd. Cross over the San Juan River and look for the trailhead on the left.
Reservoir Hill is a recreation area right in the middle of Downtown Pagosa Springs. Just up the hill from The Springs Resort (the main hot springs, amazing...) the wooded hilltop provides miles of nice trails, frisbee golf, and most importantly, the Folkwest Bluegrass festivals, see folkwest.com. The views from the top of the hill are awesome. To the north you can see the Uncompahgre and Wetterhorn Peaks among others, to the Northwest you can see the cone shaped Pagosa Peak. The best part about it is after working up a sweat on the trail, you can stroll over and soak your bones at the Springs Resort, these may be the nicest hot springs in Colorado, go to Kips Grill for lunch and drinks and you'll never leave this wonderful SW Colorado town...ahhh....
